Lake Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Five years or more experience in supervision and property management
  • Experience in budgeting, accounting and finance management
  • Strong communication skills to include both written and verbal communication
  • Leadership experience to include goal setting, problem solving and building high performance teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Access
  • Must possess a valid operator’s license and not have been convicted of a felony crime or theft

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

The following is a list of the preferred skills, knowledge and abilities that would be viewed favorably if interested applicants possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management
  • Prior military experience leading or supervising others
  • Previous experience in a lake community, city or village manager position
  • Experience in project management and vendor negotiations would be beneficial
  • Be willing to reside or to re-locate within 50 miles of Lake Waynoka

Salary Range/Application Instructions

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 depending on education, training and experience.

Seasonal Boat Patrol

Job functions are as follows (but not limited to):

  • Enforcing boating and lake rules and regulations issued by the WPOA
  • Issuing WPOA citations and verbal warnings in compliance with WPOA rules and regulations
  • Ensuring safety and compliance per boating and lake rules
  • Assisting disabled boaters

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply and pass a background check. Boating experience necessary, as well as weekend availability.

Wastewater Treatment Plan Operator

The Lake Waynoka Water and Sewer District is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a growing field, with on-the-job training provided!

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 9th grade math ability
  • Ability to learn and follow detailed procedures
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily laboratory testing of wastewater samples
  • Perform routine plant maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of plant operations
  • Assist with collections system maintenance (may include light lifting)
