Accountant/Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the Lake Waynoka Property Owners Association. This individual will be responsible for managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
This position’s duties will need to provide a strategic oversight of the company's financial health. They are responsible for ensuring that financial records are accurate, compliant, and that the company's financial operations are running smoothly.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: Competitive salary based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for the Board of Trustees
  • Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of community financials and oversee audits as necessary
  • Work closely with department heads to manage financial planning and cost control
  • Process tax filings and coordinate with external CPA firms as needed
  • Present financial updates and recommendations at board meetings
  • Supervise any accounting staff and provide training as needed
  • Identify opportunities for improved financial processes and efficiency
  • Work with external auditors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial/accounting experience
  • Experience in HOA, municipal, or community association finance is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with community governance or small-scale municipal management is a plus.

Health & Rec Center Housekeeper

Job Type: Part-Time

Required Days: Tuesday-Saturday

Hours: up to 20 hours a week

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor cleaners and buffers

Health & Rec Center Attendant

The Attendant is the first friendly face members and guests will see checking into the rec center. Attendants are energetic and encouraging to all members and staff and assist in helping keep a safe and positive environment. Attendants are responsible for, but not limited to, welcoming and checking in members and their guests, maintaining the cleanliness of the building, completing pool chemical checks, booking rentals, helping maintain the quality and life of our equipment, and working with management in helping enforce the WPOA rules and regulations.

Job Type: Part-Time

Required Days: Weekday and weekend evenings and holidays

Hours: 3 pm - 9 pm

Pay Rate: TBD

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Must have 1 year work experience
  • 18+ years of age(potential of working past hours)
  • Available all year round
  • CPR/AED certified (classes provided at the lake)
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication

Health & Rec Center Assistant Manager

The assistant manager position will work directly under and in coordination with the manager of the Health and Recreation Center. This position will also include supervision of Rec Center staff and assist in all daily operational tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning, restocking, pool maintenance, assisting members, overlooking daily deposits, assisting in building rentals and scheduling, and training new staff. The assistant manager is expected to help ensure all WPOA and Rec Center rules and regulations are being followed.

Must be willing to work required days with the flexibility to change hours in accordance with operational needs. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-Time

Required Days: Tuesday-Saturday

Hours: 32+ hours a week; 3 pm - 9 pm

Pay Rate: TBD
